“About the Bad” — is a fascinating science show about the adventures of our brain in the supermarket. Instead of boring lectures, the audience will experience a live exploration of how our brain reacts to fast food, sweets, and other pleasures that are hard to resist.
Together with Ilya Kolmanovsky, participants will conduct scientific experiments and discover how a chocolate bar can “take our brain hostage” and why it’s so difficult to say “no” to our favorite treats. The main goal of the show is not to forbid, but to understand how our brain works and how to consciously choose what we eat.
Ilya Kolmanovsky is a PhD in Biology, science journalist, and author of the popular podcasts “The Naked Mole Rat” and “One and a Half Mole Rats”. He is known for his vivid, clear, and engaging way of explaining complex scientific topics to both children and adults.
