From October 19 to 23, 2025, a tour of the play “Made in Odessa” will take place in five German cities – a new stage production filled with Odessa humor, nostalgia, and the warmth of human stories. Starring Aleksei Gorbunov, a legendary theater and film actor, and Oleg Filimonov, a master of subtle satire and true Odessa wordplay.
“Made in Odessa” is not just an evening of Odessa humor. It is a deep, ironic, and touching story about friendship, memory, love for the native city, and for the people who make it special.
The main characters try to understand: does that very Odessa we remember and love still exist? Or does it live only in memories? Or maybe it is still here – within ourselves?
The performance is built as a live dialogue with the audience, where humor, irony, lyricism, and poignant nostalgia intertwine. It is not only a story about Odessa – it is a story about all of us. About how we miss, laugh, love, dream, and hope. And about how sometimes the most important thing is simply being close to those we value.
